With the mission of inspiring children through the arts, Art In Motion (AIM) uses dance and music to help all children develop high standards, discipline, and a belief in themselves that will carry over into all aspects of their lives.
All of our In-School classes are totally free of charge to the students. Our After School classes are offered on a sliding scale basis.
Our AIM programs are joyful, rigorous, and intellectually engaging.

NUTCRACKER, Magical Christmas Ballet
is back and will be performing at the Capitol Theatre November 17th!
Audition to dance as Party Children, Mice, Snowflakes, Snow Maidens & Variations.
There’s a role for everyone!
The youth cast is at the heart of NUTCRACKER, Magical Christmas Ballet.
Dance with artists from Ukraine, Italy, Japan, and beyond for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
These auditions are open to all dancers in the greater Yakima Valley, ages 6-18, who have had at least 1 year of ballet training and are enrolled or will be enrolled in a ballet class for the fall season of 2025.
Fall classes begin August 25th!

Beginning Character Class, Mondays 6:15-7:15
Integral to the classical ballet repertoire, Character Dance is the stylized representation of traditional folk dances from around the world.
Character dances featured in ballets such as Swan Lake and The Nutcracker include: Czardas, Mazurka, Tarantella, Slavic, Flamenco, and Greek.
Ages 13+
